Decent product
Loudness, feature set and build quality, these are the primary reasons why you should buy these speakers. Sound clarity is acceptable, not exceptional. If you want a utility speaker that can fill a room and is loud both indoors & outdoors, go for it. The NU Republic Skream 2 won't disappoint. These speakers are good for music. Loud music. For movies, YouTube videos and talk/ chat shows, these aren’t a great choice. Bass is present, and with passive radiators, expecting thumping bass is unrealistic. Skream 2 will easily fill even a large room with its 20W sound. So, for small parties and outdoor gathering like camping, these speakers perform well. Claimed ruggedness and IPX 7 rating work in its favour here too. Like any small and portable speaker, the main reason to buy is to be able to carry your sound with you. Sound clarity & quality are always a compromise, even in products from big brands. Therefore, if you can grab these in a sale, the speaker is a very attractive proposition. In its class, it punches way above its weight. Looks are always a subjective thing. Skream 2 isn't bad looking at all, but it won't turn heads. And the speaker isn't light. In fact, I feel for a portable speaker of its size these are on the heavier side. A re-assuring thing in my opinion. Bundled USB charging cable and 3.5mm AUX cable are basic at best. The only real grouse I have is with the clip on the side of the speaker. It does not rotate. Which means that when hanging it, be careful to face it the right way, else the sound will be muffled. Also, the buttons are very hard to press. They may soften over time. I wish a sleeve too was bundled with the package. Overall, the speaker does its job well. It is meant to be loud and loud it is. If you are sensitive about your sound and quality, look elsewhere. However, if you want something that can make itself heard in a small party or from a certain distance, these are a good option. I feel they are a better buy than most other brands in the budget category. NU Republic is made in China and is imported, re-branded and sold in India. This is also true for most other brands; however, the company is providing a 1-year warranty which is appreciable. Finally, if you are considering other products like JBL GO, Sony XB01 and the likes, remember that those are 5W-10W speakers whereas Skream 2 gives 20W, IPX 7 waterproofing and SD card slot as extra for the same price. Brand trust and service support are where those brands outclass the NU Republic, but in features and value for money proposition, Skream 2 makes more sense. Within these, sound quality is about equal and none of them are great. In a line - Skream 2 is a good value for money product, that will make most of its buyers happy.

everything is great its just that it has a bit of connectivity issue if go sit a bit far at 70+, but as battery goes does its gets worse until you end up using your phone within 2ft sometimes even 1ft. edit: with just 5month it started malfunctioning, the range is now horrible, and it can play bass anymore as it just distorts and something is much weird that if you now play it at full volume it doesn't play and make noises
