Highly recommended
1 . looks are stunning 2 . The screen is awesome - watching 4k videos in 1080p looks great , I think its better than Mac , 2 million pixels do wonder in this 13.3 inches screen. Though looks bit warmer . 3 . Too smooth and fast - takes 8 - 10 seconds to boot up . Using Photoshop for working and it worked fine and fast - thanks to the 8 GB ram (wish it was DDR 4 rather than DDR 3 ) and SSD card . 4 . Sound - Great sound though not too loud but great bass and treble felt due to B & O speakers - love them . 5 . Heard lots about various cons - I think it will be solved by downloading HP support assistant from web and download all the drivers and install them , I think all problems Will be solved . Go ahead with the buy , you won't regret 👍👍

Excellent so far, slim form factor, performance from 8th generation Intel i5 processor combined with Win10 is good, boot speed is fast, bezel less display is stunning. I have been reading all previous comments mentioning different issues, I didn't face any SSD failure issue, none the less I have updated the bios firmware from HP to avoid any issues, haven't noticed any heating issues, also warranty has no issues while registering with HP. You get around 215GB storage with remaining taken up by the OS. If you can grab one in one of those sales, it is absolutely worth.

Wonderful
The Laptop is quite good. There is only one problem, and that is for Linux Users. The design is polished and it is well built. Flex is mostly absent. The lid and bottom are made up of Magnesium-Aluminium alloy, so they have a very minute bit of flex, but this makes the laptop incredibly light. The Deck is aluminium and rock solid. Keyboard area has no flex at all. It has a couple of USB-A and a couple of USB-C ports, along with a 3.5 mm Headphone jack and a power connector, and a microSD slot. The USB-C ports can be used for charging, but no thunderbolt support, which is expected and not a huge issue. The charging via the barrel plug and 65W adapter is super fast. 90-100 minutes and it is full charged up to the brim. The display is quite good. 70 % Adobe RGB and 92 % sRBG is pretty good, has good color accuracy and 280 nits of brightness, which is nice. It is an IPS panel too. The display is reflective though, so it may be hard to work under direct sunlight. The webcam is kind of average, but workable. The keyboard is amazing. It has 1.2 mm travel, but the keys are well spaced and have a nice layout with nice tactile and spongy feel. There is one level of backlight as well and you will need it more than you expect. There is no bleeding of light, except a little on the function keys, which is pretty minor. The speakers are pretty good for a laptop so thin and light. The bass is a little weak, but natural, distortion free sound output is immersive. The SSD is a Toshiba NVMe Drive and has good speeds. Read - 1500 MB/s Write - 890 MB/s The touchpad is glass and is a bit small, but has nice control and texture. It uses Synaptics base, but all the gestures worked good. No cursor jumps. It has one minor problem though. The trackpad on the edge depresses a little when you touch it, maybe due to the slim design of the laptop. The wireless card is an Intel 7265 (2x2) card with BT4.1+, which is a good card in Intel's performance segment. It has speeds upto 720 MBPS, misses on Gigabit network, but that is not going to be a thing pan-India for the next 4-5 years, more than the time you will use this laptop as your main machine. The one issue I have with this laptop is that the speakers on the deck with the Bang and Olufsen tuning are not going to work with Linux/Unix OS. Only the two speakers/tweeters at the bottom are going to work, and you will get a little distortion and a lot less volume. It is a minor issue, and this laptop is well worth it despite that. Note -- Update the drivers and BIOS before running DST and Memory tests. It is only a BIOS bug and nothing big guys. Also, the thermals are nicely handled. Even during benchmarking this, I never saw temperatures getting above 73 degree Celsius for the CPU and 52 degrees for the SSD. You can repaste it and Undervolt upto -75 mV. This reduces the temperatures by another 5-8 degrees. The battery life is quite good. You can expect 8-11 hours in Windows under performance oriented mode depending on your workflow. In Linux, with PowerTOP and TLP on, you get around 8-11 hours. Without TLP and PowerTOP, you should get 6-9 hours.
