Today, HP launched a new all-in-one (AIO) PC in India – the HP Envy Move AIO. While the computer ships with the latest Intel Core i5 processor and 16GB of RAM, its main selling point remains portability, for which it ships with a built-in handle and a rechargeable battery. That said, here’s everything you want to know about the latest HP PC, including its design, specifications, and price.
HP Envy Move All-In-One PC Design
The HP Envy Move AIO PC is essentially a monitor that houses all the required components, such as the processor, SSD, and motherboard, like traditional all-in-one PCs have done for years. However, it is the portability that differentiates this particular model from others.
Though the device weighs 4.1kg, users can easily move it from one desk to another with the help of the handle that’s built into the chassis. It’s located on the top frame, toward the back. So whenever you feel like recreating your workstation or carrying the device along, just put the keyboard in the sleeve attached at the rear and hold the AIO with the help of the handle.
Besides this, users get a monitor with symmetrical bezels on three sides, except for the broad chin at the bottom. To place the PC on a surface, users also get two built-in kickstands.
HP Envy Move All-In-One PC Specifications
The AIO comes with a 23-8-inch QHD IPS panel that supports touch inputs. It supports 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut and has a peak brightness of 300 nits. Under the hood, the HP Envy portable PC runs on the 13th Generation Intel Core i5 processor (up to 4.6 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost).
Although the machine doesn’t have a dedicated graphics processor, it still features Intel UHD graphics. Users get 16GB of LDDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage, which should be enough for most workflows.
Regarding ports, there’s one USB Type-A port, one USB Type-C port with support for DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI-in port, one expansion slot for M.2 SSD, and a headphone jack. For wireless connectivity, users get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3. On the right frame, users get the monitor’s switch source and brightness buttons, whereas on the left frame, users get the volume buttons.
The HP Envy Move AIO also has dual 5W speakers that generate decent sound output. Then there’s the 5MP IR privacy camera with temporal noise reduction and on-device microphones. The device ships with the HP 720 Bluetooth keyboard, an integrated touchpad (stored in the sleeve at the back), and a 90W AC power adapter.
Another key selling point of the AIO is the wireless usage capability. Unlike most models, the HP Envy AIO ships with an internal battery for up to four hours of usage time on a single charge. Even though the backup could vary for users, this is a great feature that complements the device’s portable nature.
