Brilliant
I am very happy to own this laptop at an affordable price. Delivery is a bit slow but packaging is great. Update: Some gaming bnchmarks @1080P & High performance power plan: 1. Far Cry 5 (All set to ultra except AA at SMAA) 40-55 FPS. 2. CS:GO (Maximum settings except AA at 4X MSAA) 100-130 FPS. 3. Metal Gear Solid 5 the Phantom Pain (Maximum settings) Stable 60 FPS. 4. PUBG PC version(Medium settings) 45-60 FPS. 5. Crysis 3 (Max settings, SMAA) 45-50 FPS. 6. Rise of the Tomb Raider (Ultra settings DX11, SMAA) 35-50 FPS 7. FIFA 18 (Maximum settings) 110-125 FPS 8. PES 2018 (Maximum settings) Stable 60 FPS 9. Far Cry Primal (Maximum settings, SMAA) 45-50 FPS 10. Far Cry 4 (Maximum settings, SMAA) 35-55 FPS PROs: 1. You get the best core hardware at this price ( i7 7700HQ + GTX 1050Ti + 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD). 2. The display is not that bad as mentioned in other reviews. Its not super bright and colour accurate but does the job flawlessly. 3. Asus software package for performance optimisation is a thing that you will miss in other brands. 4. Built quality is solid. 5. ROG branded bag comes free. 6. Last but not least, there are three RAM slots and one M.2 slot for future upgrades which is nice to have. CONs: 1. Single fan setup may struggle in cooling while running super demanding games for long hours. 2. You get the desired performance only after updating all the softwares including Windows itself otherwise it feels like running an old school Pentium laptop. 3. A bit bulky if you want to travel with it. 4. Battery life could have been better but it is fine if you know how to tweak things. 5. It comes with pre installed Windows 10 Single Language not Pro version. Thank you.

First things first, Thanks Flipkart for issuing a replacement product so quickly, never expected to order on a Thursday Night, Receive the product on Saturday, Register a replacement request on Saturday and receive the replacement on Monday morning. Simply Wowed.. Big Thanks guys. Coming to the product now, I was a bit skeptical about an Asus device at 73K with i7 7th generation and GTX1050Ti model, coz all other Brands have such a configuration only at around 80K, but to my amazement it's really a beautiful looking laptop, Feels premium, performs premium, Looks premium. The touchpad could have been a tad better, but no complains. The display is not a IPS Panel but it's really good, enjoy watching content on it and playing games. The speakers are not very loud but do their job. The keyboard is nice to use too. No heating issue as of now, but will update once I have used it extensively. The performance and graphics quality is very good, Already started with Battlefield 1, Fifa 2017, GTA 5. All in High graphics setting and all play very smoothly, no lag or frame drops. Battery backup can be better, It discharges very fast but charges quickly because of a huge 120W power adapter. I am yet to add an SSD to this and will update on the performance after adding an M2 SSD and upgrading RAM to 16 GB. Stay Tuned. Peace Out.✌️

Good laptop but not for software developers or professionals
A good laptop for collage going and casual gamers. Not for professionals. I am a software programmer, of course it does work for me but I am coming from thinkpad so yeah thinkpad is way better. Here is unbiased review after 50 days of usage: 0. I bought it for 62240. Trying to buy extended warranty but, local retail stores in Pune (e.g. Pari computers) refuse to sell it as its bought online. 1. Great on spec 2. Very good performance even for development 3. Gaming performance is one of the best 4. Screen quality is above average, viewing angles are okay - thinkpad has worse 5. Non-IPS anti-glare panel 6. Not very bulky, but not comfortable if you want to use it as LAP-TOP 7. Keyboard is good but distance of keyboard from body edge is bit far due to size of laptop 8. Touchpad is not Synaptics so has limited functionalities, e.g. Momentum option is not available 9. End key on keyboard is only operated using function key and placement is very bad 10. Placement of power button is not good 11. Screen backpanel seems metal, but rest of body is plastic 12. Hingines make some kind of tik-tik/cut-cut sound while opening and closing lid 13. Battery backup is very bad, hardly 3 hours on regular use for me 14. Single small fan so heating could be issue in long run, already heats up to 75-80 degree sometimes - this is a major disadvantage I feel. My Configuration: 1. Removed DVD Drive 2. Replaced it with built in 1TB HDD using HDD caddy, looks like CD Drive port is also SATA 3 and because of that no performance issue for this 1TB HDD 3. Added my mSata 256GB ssd (from thinkpad) using ssd to sata adapter in place of 1TB drive in hdd bay 4. Still have m2.sata port empty 6. Added 8gb of dogix ddr4 2400 - total ram 16gb This laptop works like charm for me, but like I said I am coming from thinkpad which lasted 6 years with three free falls from table height and still working nicely - speed is issue now (i5 second gen) - I am personally not very happy with this laptop and feel like I should had bought thinkpad again, but well the one which I needed in thinkpad was costing me minimum 60k with i5 8th gen, where as the one which I wanted was of 125k. So I settled for this one. 3-4 Years if this laptop works for me - without any additional expenditures, it will be more then sufficient for me - I am only worried about heating issue. As far as performance is concern there is no compromise on it so far. Deducting 1 start because of heating issue. I guess there is another laptop fx503 but it does not have dvd drive and instead has two fans, which should be batter if you don't have need like replacing DVD drive to save cost for M2 Sata - And its newer model. The one which I got manufacturing date is Sept 2017 and I bought it in June 2018.
