GREAT LAPTOP IF YORE SWITCHING FROM >5 YEAR OLD LAPTOP.
I ordered this laptop on 6th september and it got delivered on 11th. I have read all the reviews online and have watched all the youtube videos there regarding this prodduct. i must say this a well built laptop for this price. it looks and feels much more premium than in the picture. aluminium alloy is great. MY REVIEW - DISPLAY is great. The low srgb doesn't bother me.(after all i'm switching from an 9 year old bulky 2nd gen laptop) - KEYBOARD is also nice, comes with backlit - FINGERPRINT also works like a charm. - BEZELS are super thin .very premium - CAMERA is average, but it's great for regular zoom meetings - SOUND quality is below average but we can hear everything perfect -TOUCHPAD is getting some sounds. i think its normal for that kind of touchpads. precision drivers works just fine - BATTERY also lasted almost a day. IT ALSO CHARGES QUICKLY ABOUT 1-1.5 HRS - BOOTING UP TIME IS ALSO QUICK ROUGHLY 10 SECONDS - i haven't tried gaming . BEWARE -NEVER UPDATE WINDOWS. I CONNECTED TO INTERNET WHILE SETTING IT UP AND UPDATED ALL DRIVERS AT THE EARLIEST. (NEVER DO THAT). AFTER THE UPDATE SYSTEM STARTED TO HANG EVERY FEW SECONDS. ITS VERY VERY VERY IRRITATING, I EVEN THOUGHT OF RETURNING THE LAPTOP. HOWEVER AFTER QUITE SEARCHING THE INTERNET I FOUND THAT THE ERROR WAS WITH SOME OF THE DRIVER UPDATES. SO I MANUALLY ROLLED BACK EVERY DRIVER FOR ALMOST 30 MINUTES. STILL IT DIDN'T SOLVE MY PROBLEM. AS ALAST RESORT I RESETTED THE WHOLE THING ON MY FIRST DAY. AND THANK GOD IT SOLVED MY ISSUE. SO NEVER UPDATE. IT WORKS GREAT WITH DEFAULT SETTINGS AND DRIVERS - JUST GO FOR IT i have been searching for laptop scince past 3 years(scince intel announced 7th gen processors). for the price this is a bang for buck.
