Used it a few times. Works good so far
We used it to click a few (like 20-30) photographs. The images are fairly good. The controls are also well placed. We are not fans of some of the features, but, that's ok. Try it. you may actually like this product.

The Best Point and Shoot camera on offer. I was looking for a really handy camera with lot of punches. Those dSLR-look-alike Bridge cameras become a handicap for their bulk at certain places when you go on tour. I wanted a handy with >15x optical zoom. Flipkart was as always good for their prompt delivery (A 5-for for delivery). The image quality is pretty good in every mode. Intelligent auto mode is fantastic. The images are sharp and crisp. After all quality should be our main criterion. To tell you truth, I went into a showroom. I took actual photos with all the available cameras (in the price range 10K-16K). A few clicks, I ruled out Sony. All Sonys were costly and poor in quality. Same goes for Samsung too. Nikon had issues with optical image stability. It finally came down to Canon vs Panasonic. I compared then in the net like dpreview, photographyblog and finally zeroed in on Panasonic Lumix TZ25. The best and the cheapest. Then I came to flipkart to order. Pros: 1. Great picture quality. 2. PASM mode. Not many point and shoot camera has these modes. 3. 16x zoom. with iZoom it can go upto 32x. (iZoom is not digital zoom). 4. Low noise in ISO 100 and 200. Very acceptable quality upto ISO 400. 5. Fast to boot & shoot as well as fast in-between shoots. 6. 15s Shutter speed! No other camera even in the higher range has this speed. I took many photos in the night with as little as 3-6s shutter speeds. Photos came out fantastic. Of course you will need a tripod. 7. Great optical image stability. 8. Good low light images. HDR works great. 9. Great value for Money. Cons: 1. Narrow 3.3-6.3 f stops. Of course many cameras suffer in this aspect. 3. Buttons for shoot-play mode change! It is a pain to change modes. 4. No separate battery charger. 5. Very slow battery charging. It takes almost full night to charge. 6. Burst mode limited to 4 clips only. Not really a burst mode. Overall I am pleased to have selected this one over more costlier Canon SX series. At 10K even a greedy can't ask for more.

Great little camera with professional features and overall great picture and video quality.
This is my second Panasonic travelling point and shoot camera. The first was DMC FH1. I wanted wide angle 24mm and with aperture, shutter priority and manual adjustment features, and I found these features in this Panasonic DMC TZ25. The overall picture quality is very good. However, in aperture priority mode, the aperture is only up to f/6.3, I wanted it up to f/22, but the shutter speed range is very good up to 1/4000. but still this is a great buy, good value for money. And when you are buying from flipkart, you are buying with confidence, However, I would like to point out the shipping transit time. The camera after shipping reached Ahmedabad next day, but it was in transit within Ahmedabad for two days from one facility to another and on third day it was deliver, of course there was Sunday in between. I am not complaining though.
