ZTE To Introduce Nubia Series In India On May 19

ZTE had unveiled its flagship smartphone Nubia Z9 recently as we had mentioned in our blog earlier. ZTE has now officially confirmed that its Nubia series will now be entering Indian smartphone market. Although Nubia Z9 is not going to be the first Nubia device in India, but we are expecting the first one to be ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini. ZTE has confirmed May 19 as the date for ZTE Nubia Z9 launch in India.

ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini features an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset coupled with 2 GB of RAM and providing 16 GB of in built storage space which can be expanded up to 128 GB by a microSD card. Nubia Z9 Mini boasts a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Z9 Mini sports a 16 MP auto focus rear facing camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front facing camera to serve the purpose of capturing selfies. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 based Nubia UI 2.8.

ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini is to be unveiled in India on 19 May during the official launch event which has been scheduled to be organized in Delhi to introduce Nubia series in Indian market. ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini price in India is expected to be around INR 16,000, which makes it a close rival for Xiaomi Mi 4i and Asus Zenfone 2 which have been recently launched in India.
