Celebrating festive season, Yu will be selling Yuphoria and Yureka Plus in an open sale from 13th to 17Th October, i.e, as part of ‘Amazon’s Great Indian Festive Sale’. The Yu Yunique will be available on Snapdeal one day ahead starting 12th October 2015.
You can grab the entry level Yunique, metallic wonder Yuphoria and Yureka Plus for 4,999 INR, 6499 INR and 8,999 INR respectively. In total, Yu plans on selling around 0.5 million smartphones this festival season, and removing the pre-registration road block will certainly help.
To further convince hesitant buyers, Yu also talked about strengthening of its after sales support network in the country. The company now has over 825 offline service centers in over 600 cities. Through its Onsite Doorstep Service, YU provides replacement for in warranty customers and COD option for out warranty customers across 283 cities.
All three handsets will be shipping with stock Android instead of Cyanogen software, but reportedly the two companies are very much together and soon launch high end Yutopia, running Cyanogen OS 12. You can also visit service center and get Cyanogen OS 12 flashed on Yureka Plus and Yuphoria.
