TL; DR
  • The design of the Find X9 and X9 Pro has been revealed with a new square-shaped camera housing, replacing the circular design from before.
  • Find X9 Pro gets a massive camera bump, a dedicated photo button, and a red finish, while Find X9 has a smaller bump and skips the button.
  • Both pack flat frames, ultra-thin bezels, and a titanium finish, launching October 16.

OPPO has officially revealed the design of its upcoming Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, and the series is getting a fresh look. The standout change is the move from the circular camera module seen on older models to a square housing, which feels closer to the Find X5 lineup.

On the Find X9 Pro, the camera bump is massive and even includes a dedicated Quick Button on the side, while the standard Find X9 doesn’t have it.

Both phones will feature flat frames, symmetrical ultra-thin bezels, and flat displays, with a more balanced in-hand feel. OPPO says the design now offers improved weight distribution, and the finish options add to the premium vibe.

The Find X9 will be available in Velvet Titanium, Frost White, And Fog Black, while the Find X9 Pro gets Velvet Titanium, Frost White, and an eye-catching red variant teased earlier. We don’t know its official name yet, nor do we have its full image.

OPPO Find X9 and X9 Pro Cameras

Cameras are once again the highlight. The Find X9 comes with a triple setup: an upgraded LYT808 main sensor (1/1.4 inch), a JN5 ultrawide, and a 3X periscope telephoto. A circular flash rings the Hasselblad branding.

The Find X9 Pro steps it up with a larger LYT828 main sensor (1/1.28 inch), a 200MP HP5 periscope camera (1/1.56 inch, 70 mm focal length, f/2.1), and the same JN5 ultrawide. Here, the flash is elongated and placed on the edge of the square module.

As for the rest of the hardware, the Find X9 has a 6.59-inch display and a 7,025 mAh battery, while the Pro model goes bigger with a 6.78-inch display and a 7,500 mAh battery. Both get 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Both also run on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 processor, making them direct competitors to vivo’s upcoming X300 series launching just days earlier on October 13.
