Xiaomi Watch S3 confirmed to feature 12-channel heart rate sensor

Xiaomi is gearing up for its next big launch with the limelight on the Xiaomi 14 series, the next-gen HyperOS custom skin, and of course, the all-new Xiaomi Watch S3. Speaking about the latter, the Chinese smartphone maker has left no stone unturned teasing the same including the latest feature update i.e. S3 will get a 12-channel heart rate monitoring system onboard. Here’s the story.

The latest teasers show what the Watch S3 is capable of. Xiaomi has upgraded the heart rate sensor onboard the Watch S3 with 12-channel support that improved the heart rate detection by 20% with an average accuracy of 97.95%. The teasers also mention the integration of many professional sports modes on the smart wearable including skiing mode that keeps track of the rider. There’s eSIM support with 4G onboard for calling and text messages independently.

Xiaomi Watch S3 Specs & Beyond

The Watch S3 features a 1.43” AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and a sharp 326 ppi density. The display lights up at a whopping 600 nits. It is also Xiaomi’s first-ever bezel charging model that should give users something new to try their hands on.

Watch S3 takes on a rather appealing design with the inclusion of a round dial and multiple color options available for the same. The smartwatch will be powered by Xiaomi’s HyperOS, the first wearable to feature the latest custom skin for an overall refined experience.
