The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 – a successor to chartbuster Redmi Note 4 (review), has featured in an online leak revealing alleged specification of the much-anticipated smartphone. According to the leak, the Redmi Note 5 will apparently flaunt an all metal design, however, the fingerprint sensor seems to have shifted from back to the front.(हिंदी में पढ़ें)
The so-called Redmi Note 5 is said to boast Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging. That’s not all, reports claims that Xiaomi has also upgraded optics as the alleged phone packs a 16-megapixel camera on the rear and a 13-megapixel camera on the front.

As per the leaked information, the Redmi Note 5 display is likely to come with Full HD IPS display same as the Note 4. However, Xiaomi has said to have worked on the outdoor visibility, color and contrast gamut. It appears to boast off a Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 630 chipset which is mated to Adreno 508 GPU.
Xiaomi is likely to offer the Redmi Note 5 in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage options. It could feature a hybrid SIM slot so that those who require additional storage can swap secondary SIM with microSD card.
It comes with X12 LTE modem and 3,790 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.

There is no official information available about the Redmi Note 5 India or global launch. The Redmi Note 5 price is expected to be somewhat close to Redmi Note 4 launch price.
