Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Series will debut in China on September 21st. The series is expected to include 3 models- Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Now a day before the announcement in China, the India launch has also become imminent. The Redmi Note 13 Series has been spotted on BIS certification which is mandatory for devices launching in India. This comes days after Note 13 Pro+ was seen on Geekbench.
Redmi Note 13 Series: BIS listing
Two Redmi smartphones with model numbers 2312DRAABI and 2312FRAFDI have been spotted on BIS certifications. The Chinese variant of the 2312DRAABI smartphone has the model number 2312DRAABC and was previously spotted on the IMEI database.
The Twitter User who spotted the BIS listing suggests that these could be the vanilla Note 13 5G and Note 13 4G devices. The listing hasn’t revealed any details or specs but does confirm that the India launch of the Redmi Note 13 Series will happen soon.
Redmi Note 13 Series: Expected Specs
The Redmi Note 13 Series is expected to have a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and narrow bezels. Note 13 Pro+ is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset with Mali-G610 GPU. The Note 13 5G might have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
The RAM and Storage options might be 6GB/8GB/12GB and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB respectively. The smartphones will run Android 13-based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.
In terms of camera, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is said to have a 200MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens at the back. There will be a 16MP front camera as well. Under the hood, Note 13 and Note 13 Pro are expected to pack a 5120mAh battery with 67W fast charging while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ might have a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging capability.
Moreover, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is also expected to be the first Note phone to have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The teaser has confirmed that the Note 13+ will come with wet-hand technology where the device will work in wet environments without any issues.
