Xiaomi held an event in China today where it unveiled the next-generation Redmi Note series, a new tablet, TWS earphones, and more. The Redmi Note 13 lineup comprises standard, pro, and pro+ variants. All three offerings arrive as the successors to the last year’s Redmi Note 12 series. The Note 13 Pro+ is the top-end model in the series arriving with significant upgrades compared to its predecessor. It also packs many first features in the display department in the company’s Note lineup. Read on to learn more about both below.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Display details

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ takes a bold step forward by becoming the first device in the sub-brand’s Note lineup to feature a curved AMOLED display, measuring a substantial 6.67 inches. With a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a dazzling 1,800 nits peak brightness, users can expect unparalleled clarity and fluidity in every interaction.

One noteworthy innovation is the integration of a fingerprint scanner into the display, marking a significant departure from previous models.

It also introduces an in-sensor zoom for capturing images at three different focal lengths and an impressive 4x optical lossless zoom. For selfie lovers, the smartphone offers a 16MP front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is driven by the robust MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor. It offers configurations of up to 16GB of RAM and an impressive 512GB of storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for files and apps. Powering this smartphone is a substantial 5,120mAh battery unit, supported by blazing-fast 120W fast charging. On the software front, it runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, straight out of the box.
