Xiaomi Redmi 4A has been a hot selling item for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer owing to its competitive price. As of now, it’s only available in a 16GB storage option in India and retails on Amazon.in and Mi.com in flash sales.

If you are interested in Redmi 4A but didn’t buy one due to limited 16GB of storage on the phone, there is some good news. Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi 4A 32GB variant in India which will be available in an open sale starting from August 31 for 6,999 INR (1000 INR more).

The retail page of the product went live today but was soon pulled down.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A 32GB Features and Specifications

It is worth mentioning that Redmi 4A 32GB variant is already available in China. Apart from additional native storage, other features and specifications of Redmi 4A 32GB variant remain same.

It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with Adreno 308GPU and 3GB of RAM. You can also add microSD card but only at the expense of second SIM, since the slot is hybrid.

For shutterbugs, the Redmi 4A packs a 13-megapixel rear camera aided by a single LED flash for low light photography. Up front, it bears a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. Like the Redmi 3s, it too lacks a fingerprint scanner. It backed by a decent 3,120mAh battery and runs MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow out of the box.

If you are indeed interested in the Redmi 4A, you will be better off with the 32GB storage variant (in our opinion, that is).

A few days earlier, Xiaomi also introduced its successor the Redmi Note 5A which is offered in two variants. The base variant is more or less has the same innards except for a bigger 5.5-inch display, whereas the premium variant which houses an improved Snapdragon 435 SoC, 3GB RAM and slightly better optics.
