Xiaomi is on a roll these days as they are literally launching a new smartphone almost every month in India. Sticking to the trend, Xiaomi has today introduced its much awaited entry-grade Redmi 3S in India. The latest budget smartphone comes in two variant – Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi 3S- Priced at 8,999 and 6,999 INR respectively. It will be available in Silver, Gold, Dark Gray color options. The phone will be available on Mi.com and Flipkart starting from August 9, 2016, at Noon.

Redmi 3s prime india price

The Redmi 3S design takes inspiration from Redmi 3 as it features similar Aluminum outfit. It comes fitted with a 5-inch IPS LCD HD display that amounts to a sharpness of 294 pixels per inch. Xiaomi has sourced a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset coupled with Adreno 505GPU and 2GB/3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB/32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

The fingerprint sensor is exclusive to Redmi 3S Prime.

Selfie lover gets a 5-inch front-facing camera, while photography enthusiasts can enjoy the 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). Although the Redmi 3S supports dual SIM cards, but you will have to ditch the secondary SIM privilege to avail microSD card advantage (A hybrid slot).

It comes with a 4100mAh battery which can last 2-days under moderate usage as per company claims. Redmi 3S runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI 7 OS which is based on Android Marshmallow. It supports 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Series have been a massive hit for the company with over 110 million devices sold globally so far. In India too the Redmi series has been a runaway success and the Redmi 3S, in all likelihood, shall keep the cash register ringing.
