Xiaomi is all set to launch the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Pad 5 in the country. Xiaomi Pad 6 was launched in China last month and now its India launch has been confirmed. Its Twitter handle has announced that Xiaomi Pad 6 will come to India on the 13th of June. The Pad 6 will rival the OnePlus Pad which was also announced recently.

A dedicated microsite has also gone live which reveals that only the standard Xiaomi Pad 6 will come to India and it will most probably be an online event.

Xiaomi has also confirmed launching Xiaomi Buds 4 Active alongside the Pad 6 in the country.

Xiaomi Pad 6: Expected Specs

The image of the tablet seen in the announcement looks similar to the Xiaomi Pad 5. The Pad has a metal build and a sleek design for comfortable usage. The microsite has confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will come with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, and second-gen Xiaomi Smart Pen. It will have an 11-inch 2.8K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, just like OnePlus Pad and iQOO Pad.

The Pad 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The front will have an 8MP sensor while the back will have a 13MP camera. The Pad will run MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and come with a USB Type-C port for charging. Xiaomi Pad 6 will pack an 8860mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Xiaomi Pad 6: Expected price

Although the pricing details are unknown, but given the China price, the Pad 6 is expected to be priced under Rs. 30,000. More will be known on the day of the launch. Till then, stay tuned to this space for more updates about the tech world.

Xiaomi Buds 4 Active: Features

The Xiaomi Buds 4 Active will have a tall stem and feature silicone ear tips for better grip and passive noise cancellation. The buds are expected to have Pro Drivers and ultra battery life along with ENC and Google Fast Pair.

The earbuds will come in white and black colorways and the charging case will match the color of the earbuds. The oval-shaped case will have USB Type-C charging port at the bottom. Each bud will weigh about 3.65 grams and pack a 34mAh battery. The case will have a 440mAh battery and weigh 34.7 grams. A 10-minute charge will give up to 2 hours of battery life.

Other features include an IPX4 rating, touch controls for playback, low latency while playing games, and more. The price will be announced at the launch.
