Xiaomi will launch Mi Mix 4 on August 10: Know its expected specs and details

Xiaomi has finally confirmed the arrival of Mi Mix 4, its flagship-grade smartphone. The company CEO Lei Jun revealed the launch date to be on August 10. Besides the phone, you may witness the first set of Xiaomi tablets in about three years. We have heard of three Mi Pads including Mi Pad 5. On this occasion, Mr. Jun will also be giving his annual keynote speech.

Anyways, coming to the products themselves, the headliner of the event is going to be Mi Mix 4, and here’s what we know so far about the device:

No information has been officially revealed yet but the rumor market has been quite active.

Mi Mix series has always been known for their newfangled designs with near-bezel-less displays and all. This time around, the Mi Mix 4 is said to bring an under-display selfie camera within a 6.67″ FHD+ OLED panel. A recent video shared by a leaker named Digital Chat Station² on Weibo shows this screen to be flexible.

However, the thing to be noted and something the leaker underlines is that this is an “unpackaged screen”, which means it isn’t fitted on a phone.

On the rear, rumors suggest a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor leading a triple camera setup. Under the hood, the latest Snapdragon 888+ chipset could be present along with a 5,000mAh battery (with 120W fast charging support), and memory options up to 12 gigs. The software on top will be MIUI 12.5.
