Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 Launched In India At 9,999 INR

Xiaomi today brought in its ‘Mi Ecosystem’, which includes several innovative and smart IoT devices, in India with the launch of Mi Air Purifier 2. The current generation Air Purifier from the Chinese Behemoth connect to your smartphone, run quiet at night, and has a purification capacity or Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of up to 310 Cubic Meters per hour.

MI Air Purifier 2 will retail online at Mi.com and Flipkart starting  from 26th September. And it will set you back by Rs. 9,999.

Talking of features and specifications, the Mi Air Purifier offers three stage Air filtration. Filters used include a primary PET filter, followed by the HEPA mechanical filter and active Carbon (which is helpful in removing smoke, odor and harmful pollutants like formaldehyde). The filter needs to be replaced every 6 months and will cost 2,499 INR.

The Aerodynamic design should ensure that it goes well with your home interior. At 4.8KG, its even light enough for you to drag from one room to another. Speaking of which, the recommended effective area for the Air Purifier lies between 23 – 39 Sq Meter, which means its good enough to cover any standard room in your house.

An active mode can boost CADR to 388 m3/H too. Xiaomi claims that the Mi Air Purifier 2 can clean your standard room in 10 minutes. The Axial flow fan facilitates even circulation of clean Air in the entire room.
