Xiaomi Mi 9T Available For Pre-Order At €359.99; Is Rebranded Redmi K20 As Expected

Xiaomi recently revealed that the new Mi 9 variant with a pop-up camera that it has been teasing is Mi 9T, and the handset is now listed for pre-order on a European E-commerce store for a starting price of €359.99 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.

The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage models cost €379.99 and €499.99, respectively.

The listed specifications confirm what we have suspected all along. The new Mi 9T is a rebranded Redmi K20 that starts at 1999 Yuan (or roughly €260) in China. A 100 Euro price difference across markets is a bit excessive, but surely not implausible. Especially, since the K20 is being marketed as a new version of Xiaomi’s premium Mi 9 flagship.

In China, Xiaomi also introduced a pricier Pro version that had faster charging and top of the line Snapdragon 855.

We talked to the e-commerce website support and the executive confirmed that the phone will be in stock in “a few days” and the price will remain same post availability.

Talking of specs, the Xiaomi Mi 9T will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 SoC, flaunt triple rear cameras, an uninterrupted 6.39-inch AMOLED display, and houses a beefy 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. All of that is still sounds like a good bargain for the listed pre-order price.

In India, the Redmi K20 is expected to arrive as Poco F2 sometime later in June.
