Western Digital launches My Passport NVMe SSDs with up to 2TB capacities

Western Digital (WD), a major player in the flash storage market has today introduced its palm-sized SSDs. These come with NVMe technology and in multiple storage configurations going all the way up to 2TB. They vaunt increased speeds and efficiency within a sleek and portable guise.

These WD SSDs feature a bold metal design. Thanks to their compact size, they should snug easily inside your backpack or pocket. So, they boast high-speed storage on the move.

Due to the underlying NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) technology, these can touch read speeds up to 1050MB/s and write speeds of up to 1000MB/s. They are compatible with USB 3.2 Gen-2 technology with a USB-C cable and a USB-A adaptor. Speaking of compatibility, they work with both Mac and PC.
