After making an appearance at MWC 2017 the Sony Xperia XZs has made its India debut. Sony is charging a hefty Rs 49,990 price for Sony Xperia XZs, which will be sold via offline retails stores as well as Flipkart from April 11 onwards. Continuing with its pre-booking ritual, Sony so the Sony Xperia XZs pre-booking starts tomorrow and can be pre-booked till April 10. All those who opt for pre-booking options will get a free SRS-XB10 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker whose worth get a Rs 4,990.

Once again, the new Xperia flagship is betting big on photography. The handset comes with a one of its kind 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with f/2.0 aperture, Predictive Hybrid auto-focus, and 5-axis stabilization. What really set this camera apart is its ability to record super slow-mo HD videos at 960fps which is 4times (previous best was 240fps) than any existing phone. Up front, the phone packs a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with a f/2.0 aperture.

Sony is pitching the Xperia XZs at the price point where it will face stiff competition from Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Google Pixel and even the iPhone.
On the specifications front, the Xperia XZs features a 5.2-inch full HD Triluminos display which is layered with a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It also boasts of Qualcomm’s premium chipsets – Snapdragon 820 mated to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage (up to 256GB microSD card support).
The 2017 flagship comes with IP68 certification which makes it resistant to dust and water. The phone support dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C port.

It is packed a 2,900mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Sony is offering a feature called ‘Battery Care’, which as per the company claim, refills 90 percent battery in one go, then takes a break to cool down, and then charges to 100 percent.The smartphone runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box with some additional gestures and UI tricks garnished on top.
