Vu has launched a new range of GloOLED TVs in India. The Televisions come with Glo Panel, Glo AI Processor, and Google TV support. Vu claims Glo panel with Glo processor will increase the brightness by up to 60%.

Vu GloLED TVs: Price & Availability

The Vu GloLED TV lineup is priced as follows-

  • 50-inch model- Rs. 35,999
  • 55-inch model- Rs. 40,999
  • 65-inch model- Rs. 59,999

All 3 models are now available to buy via Flipkart and leading offline stores. The TVs will come at an initial discount of Rs. 2000 on the use of SBI and HDFC Bank Cards and EMI options. A 43-inch model is also expected to launch during Diwali 2022.

Vu GloLED TVs: Features

The Vu GloLED TVs come with a bezel-less design and 3 screen sizes- 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. All 3 have the Glo display panel and support an Ultra HD screen resolution, 400 nits brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The TVs come with an NTSC color gamut of 94% which is way more than the normal 4K LED TVs having a color gamut of 72%. The TVs come with a DJ subwoofer with a sound output of 104 watts. It uses Google TV OS and comes with a hands-free-far-field microphone supporting voice search and voice commands as well as an ambient light sensor to adjust TV settings under different lighting conditions.

The new GloLED TVs support 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There are 4 speakers, 3 HDMI, and 2 USB ports as well.

The GloLED TV comes with a cricket mode called Advanced Cricket Mode. The enhanced cricket mode uses AI to show a stadium-like experience and Dolby Atmos virtualization on top can improve the cricket viewing experience. The TVs support Cinema mode as well and the remote comes with dedicated buttons for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, and YouTube.
