Vivo X90 Series launched in India: Vivo X90 & Vivo X90 Pro come with Professional grade photography features

Vivo has launched its next Flagship ‘X’ Series in India today. The Vivo X90 Series has gone official which includes 2 smartphones- Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro. The series has been given the tag of being ‘Limitless’ in terms of everything, whether it is photography, design, performance, or display. Vivo has continued its long-standing association with Zeiss for taking the photography experience to the next level. Let us have a look at the price, availability, design, and specs of the two smartphones.

Vivo X90 Series: Price & Availability

The Vivo X90 Pro comes in a single storage configuration of 12GB RAM+256GB storage. It comes in a Legendary black color and is priced at Rs. 84,999.

The Vivo X90 comes in 2 storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 59,999
  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 63,999

It comes in 2 colors Asteroid Black and Breeze Blue.

The pre-booking starts today and the sales start on 5 May 2023. Launch offers include up to 10% cash back on select bank cards, up to Rs. 8000 Vivo exchange bonus, 40% off on V-Shield, and more. The smartphones will retail via the Vivo India website and Flipkart.

Vivo X90 Series: Design

The Vivo X90 Series comes with a ceramic textured skyline, a big eye camera module, Corning Gorilla Glass 6, and a Halo Ring made of surgical-grade stainless steel for the camera module. The smartphones are made of Premium Vegan leather and are IP68 rated for protection against water and dust.

Vivo X90 Pro: Specifications

Vivo X90 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset paired with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 onboard storage. The device has an Immortalis G715 GPU.  It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-PE color gamut, 452PPI, 1300 nits brightness, HDR10+ certification, and 1.07 billion colors. The display comes with ultra-vision eye protection, anti-fatigue brightness adjustment, chip-level smart eye protection mode, and more.

The smartphone runs Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13. Vivo X90 Pro packs a 4870mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capability. It is 9.34mm thick and weighs about 215 grams. For thermal performance, there is an ultra-large vapor chamber cooling system. The smartphone is equipped with e-SIM capability as well.

The key highlight of the Vivo X90 Pro is its camera setup. The smartphone comes with a Zeiss 1-inch Main camera that comes with Zeiss T* coating and is equipped with a Vivo V2 Imaging chip that claims to improve camera performance.

The Vivo X90 Pro features a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP Sony IMX989 main sensor, a 50MP IMX 758 sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Both 50MP sensors support Optical Image Stabilization. The rear camera setup comes with Night Sports Mode, Handheld Astro Mode, Zeiss Color Natural 2.0, Zeiss Landscape and architecture mode, and much more. At the front is a 32MP selfie camera.
