vivo X200 Series Launched in China: Check Every Little Spec and Pricing

vivo has officially unveiled the vivo X200 series in China, setting a new benchmark as the first devices to come with the Dimensity 9400 chipset and some insane cameras. The lineup consists of three models: vivo X200, vivo X200 Pro, and a brand-new vivo X200 Pro mini. Let’s see what these flagships bring to the table.

vivo X200

Starting off, the vivo X200 sports a 6.78-inch micro-quad-curved LTPO OLED ZEISS Master Color display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support. The peak brightness is rated at 4,000 Nits. The frame is flat, and the bezels are even all around.

This model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, a 3nm chip based on TSMC’s N3E process, and comes with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The battery capacity stands at 5,800 mAh, with support for 90W wired charging.

The camera configuration includes a 50 MP IMX 921 main sensor with a 1/1.56” sensor size and OIS, a 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 1/2.76” ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP LYT-600 1/2” periscope lens that offers OIS, 3x optical zoom, and 100x digital zoom. There’s also support for telemacro. 

For selfies, there is a 32 MP front camera. Like its siblings, it comes with ZEISS T* lens coating and various ZEISS camera modes like the ZEISS portrait mode and others to improve image quality.

vivo X200 Pro mini

The Vivo X200 Pro mini features a 6.31-inch flat 8T LTPO OLED ZEISS Master Color display with a resolution of 1216 x 2640 and a 1-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. It’s also got support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It achieves a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Like the X200, its frame is also flat and has symmetrical bezels.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400—a 3nm chipset based on TSMC’s N3E process—the X200 Pro mini can be equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It houses a 5,700 mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.

For photography, the device includes a 50 MP Sony LYT-818 main sensor with an f/1.57 aperture, 1/1.28” sensor size, and OIS, along with a 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 1/2.76” ultra-wide lens. Additionally, it has a 50 MP LYT-600 1/2” periscope telephoto lens that provides 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. There’s also support for telemacro.

On the front, there’s a 32 MP selfie camera. The video capabilities extend to 8K at 30fps and 4K at 120fps. It also includes ZEISS T* lens coating and various ZEISS camera modes like portrait, architecture, street, and more. Also, there’s a custom Imaging chip called the V3+ for better processing.

vivo X200 Pro 

The vivo X200 Pro offers a larger 6.78-inch micro-curved LTPO OLED display, a 1260 x 2800 resolution, and a 0.1-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate with Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The display color is tuned by ZEISS Master Color. 

It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400—a 3nm chip based on TSMC’s N3E process. Further, the X200 Pro offers up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. For the battery, the device includes a 6,000 mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. 

The camera setup features a 50 MP Sony LYT-818 main sensor with f/1.57 aperture, OIS, and a 1/1.28” sensor size, a 200 MP ISOCELL HP9 1/1.4” periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 f/2.0 1/2.76” ultra-wide lens. The telephoto can also take tele macro shots and zoom to 100x. 

For selfies, it has a 32 MP front-facing ultra-wide camera. Video capabilities include 8K at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps. It’s also equipped with ZEISS T* lens coating, custom Imagine Chip V3+, and the ZEISS camera modes.

Further, the device has a metal frame, NFC, IR blaster, USB 3.2, and IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. Then, there’s an all-new ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. It runs on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15 in China. In India, it would be running on FuntouchOS 15.

The vivo X200 starts at ¥4,299 or ₹50,986 for the base 12/256 GB variant. The vivo X200 Pro mini, on the other hand, starts at ¥4,699 or ₹55,730 for the base 12/256 GB variant. Finally, the highest-tier vivo X200 Pro starts at ¥5,299 or ₹62,846 for the base 12/256 GB variant.

The vivo X200 series is expected to launch in India by early December. The vivo X200 and vivo X200 Pro have already been confirmed (per the leaks) to launch in the country, but we’re still unsure about the vivo X200 Pro mini.
