vivo V60 Launched in India Starting at ₹36,999: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 & 3X Periscope with ZEISS

vivo has launched the V60 in India, introducing notable hardware changes compared to its predecessor, the V50. The phone is available in four configurations:

  • 8/128GB: ₹36,999
  • 8/256GB: ₹38,999
  • 12/256GB: ₹40,999
  • 16/512GB: ₹45,999

Sales will begin via Flipkart, vivo’s official online store, and other retail outlets on August 19. Limited time launch offers include a 10% discount and 1-year additional warranty.

The V60 comes in three colour finishes: Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold, with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. It runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process.

The CPU consists of one core clocked at 2.8GHz, four at 2.4GHz, and three at 1.8GHz. RAM options go up to 16GB LPDDR4X, paired with UFS 2.2 storage, and up to 12GB additional virtual RAM is available depending on the model. 

The display is a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2392 x 1080, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and up to 5000 Nits peak local brightness and 1500 Nits HBM. It supports 2160 Hz PWM, and has an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.

The rear camera system consists of a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP OIS 3X M-shape periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a resolution reduction compared to the V50’s ultra-wide. On the front, there’s a 50MP autofocus selfie camera with a 92° field of view. Video recording goes up to 4K resolution on both the front and the rear.

It also packs ZEISS integration, with ZEISS multifocal portrait system and other feature. When it comes to AI features, the V60 packs features like AI Captions, AI Image Expander, AI Four Season Portrait, Circle to Search, Google Gemini, and more.

Other hardware highlights include a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired charging, dual nano SIM support with 5G+5G standby, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS with NavIC, and an IR blaster. The device weighs between 192g and 201g depending on the finish and has glass or composite back materials depending on color choice.
