Vivo V27 series makes its debut in the Indian market with 3D curved display, colour changing rear panel, and more

After a long wait, Vivo has finally rolled out the Vivo V27 series in the Indian market. The lineup consists of two smartphones, including Vivo V27 and Vivo V27 Pro. Both devices have a sleek design and thin bezels that make them eye candy. Furthermore, these smartphones also have a slightly curved display that seems elegant. The Pro variant from the series will directly compete with other devices like iQOO Neo 7 5G. The devices have a color-changing glass design and a night portrait with Aura light backed by a Sony sensor.

As for the pricing, the Vivo V27 is available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 32,999 for the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage. On the other hand, the starting price of the Vivo V27 Pro can be purchased at a starting price of Rs 37,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart. Both devices will be shipped in two different color variants – Noble Black and Magic Blue. The first sale of the Vivo V27 Pro is scheduled to be held on March 6, and the first sale of the base variant will be held on March 23.

Vivo V27 series specifications

Starting with the Pro variant, the Vivo V27 Pro ships with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display complemented with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a curved display, and a punch hole cut out at the top middle for the placement of the front camera. The device will work on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage in the high-end variant. Furthermore, it will flaunt a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. The handset will draw power from a 4,600mAh battery along with 66W fast charging support.

The Vivo V27 will also have a 6.7-inch display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor along with 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage in the regular variant. It will run on the Funtouch 13 based on the Android 13 operating system. In terms of optics, the handset flaunts a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the smartphone gets a 50MP snapper for the sake of selfies and video calls. It draws power from a 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
