Vivo V21 5G confirmed to launch on April 29; Here is what we know so far

Vivo has officially scheduled the launch of the Vivo V21 5G mobile phone in India. The event will be held on April 29 at 12 noon. Vivo V21 is teased to feature a 64MP OIS triple rear camera setup and a 44MP OIS selfie camera. 

The upcoming Vivo phone will be a mid-ranger and successor to Vivo V20 (review) which was launched back in October 2020. A teaser page of Vivo V21 is live on Flipkart. The company has not revealed much about the specs of the Vivo V21 5G yet. But with what we have scoured from across the web, here we will share what we know so far.

Vivo V21 5G Features (Expected)

Let’s begin with what’s confirmed through the dedicated Flipkart page. The Vivo V21 5G is confirmed to ship with a 64MP OIS night camera system at the back. On the front, there will be a 44MP front camera again with Optical Image Stabilization technology. The phone will feature a 7.39mm thickness for the Sunset Dazzle and Arctic White editions, while the Dusk Blue color will be thinner at 7.29mm.

Further, we know that Vivo V21 will be a 5G smartphone supporting both SA and NSA 5G networks. The phone is hinted to arrive in an 8GB RAM variant with the option for extended virtual memory up to 3GB.

Additional claims suggest the phone would be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Upfront, it is said to sport a 6.44-inch 90Hz AMOLED display. And there will be support for 33W fast charging capability as well.
