Vivo Y200 Pro 5G Set to Arrive in India on May 21: Key Specs Confirmed

Vivo recently launched three new smartphones in the Vivo X100 Series in China. These include the Vivo X100s, Vivo X100s Pro, and Vivo X100 Ultra. While there is still no news about any of these devices coming to India, Vivo has confirmed the launch of a new member to the Y200 Series. Vivo Y200 Pro 5G smartphone is all set to launch in India on 21st May. The new Y Series device will come in at least two color options and be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Some images have been revealed by Vivo itself which has led to speculations about Vivo Y200 Pro being a rebrand of the already existing Vivo V29e. Other than Vivo Y200 Pro, the lineup includes two more devices- Vivo Y200 and Vivo Y200e.

Vivo Y200 Pro 5G: Launch details

The Vivo Y200 Pro 5G smartphone will launch on 21^st May at 12 Noon, revealed the press invite. The price details of the device are still unknown, though it is expected to be kept in the sub-25,000 segment. Vivo is actively teasing this upcoming Y-Series smartphone through microblogging platform X. The teasers show a handset in green and black colors with a curved display, centrally located punch-hole selfie camera, and dual rear cameras.

Vivo Y200 Pro 5G: Specs (confirmed & expected)

Vivo has confirmed that the Y200 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. The device was seen on Google Play Console with model number V2303 which revealed it will have 8GB RAM and run Android 14 OS.

The smartphone is expected to sport an FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 440ppi. It is said to share many of its specs and design language with already existing Vivo V29e.

It is a close sibling of Vivo Y200 and Vivo Y200e. While Vivo Y200 5G was launched in October 2023 for Rs. 21,999, the Vivo Y200e was announced in February 2024 for Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version.
