Vivo Signs Mr. Prefectionist, Aamir Khan, As Its New Brand Ambasdor

Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo brings on board the iconic Bollywood actor Aamir Khan as its new brand ambassador for India. The eminent actor has been signed for Vivo’s future brand and product communication initiatives.

The actor will soon be seen in a full-fledged marketing campaign around the upcoming products and will feature in a new television commercial. It could all start with the launch event of Vivo V9, which is scheduled on March 21.

Commenting on his association, Aamir Khan said, “Vivo as a brand embodies the spirit of innovation and meaningful disruption. Over the years, the brand has been constantly pushing the boundaries of smartphone technology as we know it today to provide consumers with an enhanced mobility experience. I am enthused to be a part of Vivo’s transformative journey in India.”

Vivo V9 Features [Expected]

To recall, the Vivo V9 to feature a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with iPhone X-like notch, and Snapdragon 626 SoC under the hood. The phone employs 6GB of RAM and 64GB ROM, and runs on Android Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.0 out-of-the-box and expected to pack a 3,260mAh battery.

For photography, the Vivo V9 features a dual 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel on the back and a 24MP sensor on the front for selfies. The cameras are said to come with Artificial Intelligence Beauty and 4k video recording capability.

Other specifications of Vivo V9 include 4G LTE support, Face Acess, the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, and AR stickers. The phone is expected to pack a 3,260mAh battery with fast charging support.
