vivo has officially confirmed the launch date for the vivo S60 series in China. The company will launch the lineup on May 29, 2026, and the series will initially include the vivo S60 and vivo S60 Vitality Edition. These phones are also expected to arrive in India later this year under the vivo V80 branding, which vivo usually does with its S-series devices outside China.
vivo S60: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 7,200 mAh Battery, and 50MP Cameras

The standard vivo S60 is said to feature a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and symmetrical bezels. vivo will reportedly use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.



Inside, the S60 will pack a 7,200 mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. As for the optics, the S60 will feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 3X telephoto with the IMX882 sensor. The front camera will use a 50MP sensor as well.
vivo S60 Vitality Edition

The vivo S60 Vitality Edition is mostly the same as the standard S60 with a few changes. Unlike the standard S60, the Vitality Edition uses the Dimensity 7500 chipset. It also lacks the telephoto camera present on the S60. We could see this being rebranded as the V80 FE in India.
The vivo S60 series is expected to launch globally later this year under the vivo V80 branding, including in India. Official pricing and complete availability details for China will be revealed during the May 29 launch event.
