Vaio E15 with up to AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Vaio SE14 with Intel Core i5 processor has launched in India. This marks the return of a brand, that was once an aspirational brand (introed by Sony) for many in this country. This comeback, however, is made possible by Hong Kong-based Nexstgo, which has licensed the brand from Japan-headquartered Vaio Corporation.

Vaio E15 Specs
Vaio E15 sports a 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel upfront. Inside, it lugs around AMD processors (either Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7) coupled with 8gigs of DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD, and Radeon graphics (Vega 8 or Vega 10).

It ships with Windows 10 Home software. The connectivity solutions include 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 3.1 Type C (PD 3.0 Charging, Display Out), 1 Mic-in, 1 x Micro HDMI Port, and a micro SD card slot. There is a 2 x 1 W Stereo Speaker system. The keyboard is backlit. The claimed battery life is up to 8 hours on a single charge.
Vaio SE14 Specs
Vaio SE14 flaunts a 14-inch FHD IPS screen with an anti-glare coating. On the forehead, there is a 1MP webcam and underneath the display, there is an island-style backlit keyboard. There’s a fingerprint reader on board.

The internal machinery comprises of 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. It comes with a four-speaker system, with two facing top and the other two down. The I/O consists of two USB Type-C, two USB-A (3.0), an HDMI port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The company claims a battery endurance of up to 13 hours on a single charge.
Vaio E15 and SE14 Price and Availability
Vaio E15 (the Ryzen 5 variant) carries a price tag of Rs. 49,990 while the Ryzen 7 model is priced at Rs. 56,990 in India. Meanwhile, the Vaio SE14 (the Intel model) comes at a price of Rs. 62,990.
