Toyota has done something new. The company has opened its first-ever lifestyle and cultural hub called the Toyota Experiential Museum (tem) located in the Pheonix Mall of Asia, Bangalore. Now a museum from Toyota makes one naturally think that it may have a lot to do with cars. And while the Toyota Experiential Museum has some connection to the car world, its not as much about cars as it is about the five human senses – sight, smell, sound, taste, and hearing. The Toyota Experiential Museum is aimed at giving customers or enthusiasts an experience which will play along their five senses, which blends Japanese minimalism with Indian warmth and culture.

The Toyota Experiential Museum will capture people in captivating visuals, soothing sounds, distinctive scents, abstract textures, and flavours. Inside the museum, Toyota has also partnered with Drum Tao for an audio-visual experience, and there is an art piece featuring cascading water curtains encircling a car in satin. There is also a cafe inside the Toyota Experiential Museum which offers both Indian and Japanese drinks and food. We also have a merchandise store.

During the launch, Toyota said that the inspiration behind idea of the museum comes from the practice of Sadhana, which is a pursuit of inner balance and fulfilment. “Toyota Experiential Museum is where the Japanese culture and values of precision, serenity, and respect for nature beautifully align with the spirit of Sādhanā, making tem a meaningful blend of both. Designed to engage the senses and spark reflection, it brings together art, technology, and craftsmanship to inspire mindfulness, especially amongst the youth,” Tadashi Asazuma, Deputy Manager, Toyota Kirlosar Motors said during the inauguration event.
The entry fee for the Toyota Experiential Museum (tem) is ₹542 per person and you can purchase the tickets for the experience on the Toyota Experiential Museum website and Book My Show.
