Timex iConnect Premium Active smartwatch launched in India

Timex group has unveiled a new smartwatch in the country namely iConnect Premium Active. It is released in two variants — a silicone strap and a stainless steel mesh strap variant. It comes with health and fitness features such as a heart rate monitor and activity tracker. Besides, you also get stuff like real-time notification sync with your phone, IP68 water resistance, etc.

Upfront, the watch sports a rectangular dial with rounded corners. It measures 36mm in size and is touch responsive. The dial is metallic but the straps can be picked in both stainless steel and silicon.

On the health and fitness side, you get a heart rate sensor, sedentary reminder, activity-tracking, and sleep logging. You can use the free companion app called iConnect by Timex 2 (available on Play and App store) to keep a tab on the aforementioned logs. You can set personal goals and compete with friends to rank on the fitness leaderboard.

The watch also conveys phone notifications for calls, texts, and calendar events in real-time. You can also control the music playback from the watch screen.

Timex has stuffed in a 5-day worth of juice. The box packs a magnetic cradle that connects to the pogo pins by the base of the watch.

Timex iConnect Premium Active Price and Availability

Timex has priced the silicone variant of iConnect Premium Active at ₹6,995, while the stainless steel model is a little pricier at ₹7,295. You can shop the watches at the official Timex India site as well as through authorized retail partners.
