This Diwali season, Lenovo brings forward three new A series handsets – A1000, A6000 Shot and K3 Note Music – which will be available exclusively at offline retail stores for 4,999 INR, 9,999 INR and 12,999 INR respectively.
Offline market is larger than what most netizens can fathom, and by exclusively catering to this segment, Lenovo plays its cards right. The Chinese manufacturer has always taken advantage of its widespread presence on the ground and, as we have witnessed, online exclusive A series phones are often pushed in offline retail chain after the ‘stampede phase’ is over.
The Lenovo A1000 is an entry level offering with very modest hardware that shall suffice only for the most basic of users. The Lenovo A6000 Shot is an upgraded version of Lenovo A6000 Plus, with a modest 13MP Rear camera (VS 8MP in A6000 Plus).
The Lenovo K3 Note Music was also demonstrated alongside K3 Note at India launch event. The innovative handset has a ceramic speaker plate on the rear side that you can also affix in the box packaging, which then doubles as an amplifier. That sounds cool, though we couldn’t put it to test in noisy ambient conditions at the event.
