Tecno’s Chandrayan-inspired Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition launched in India

Tech giant Tecno has launched a new smartphone that draws inspiration from India’s latest success Chandrayan. Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition has arrived in the country as a tribute to the Chandrayan 3-moon mission of ISRO. Tecno claims that the Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition is designed to make a statement with its innovative Black and White Leather Design along with a camera module that resembles the moon’s surface.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition is priced at Rs. 11,999. The smartphone is up for pre-order and will go on sale starting September 15. It is currently available to pre-book and will be available online as well as offline.

Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition: Specifications

The limited edition smartphone flaunts a 6.78-inch HD+ Dot display with a 1080×2400 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 chipset consisting of dual 2GHz Cortex-A75 cores and Hexa 2GHz Cortex A-55 CPUs accompanied by an ARM Mali-G52 233MC2 GPU clocked at 1000MHz. The smartphone comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and unique 8GB expandable RAM with Memory Fusion. There is 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

In terms of camera optics, the Moon Explorer Edition has a 50MP primary camera complemented by an AI Lens and Dual LED flash for enhanced low-light photography. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera featuring dual LED flash and an aperture of f/2.45.

Connectivity options include Dual SIM functionality and run HiOS 12.6 based on Android 13. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone is claimed to reach 50% in 40 minutes.
