Tecno Camon iACE2X with 8MP AI Selfie Camera And 3GB RAM Launched

Tecno, the Chinese OEM has unveiled its mid-budget smartphones with AI equipped camera and a decent set of hardware specs. The smartphone which prevailed in the offline market now turns to the online realm with two new devices. The one mentioned in the title is accompanied by a lower variant too. So, without further ado, let’s see what do these have to offer.

TECNO CAMON iACE2X and iACE2

So, let’s start with the difference between the two. CAMON iACE2X comes with 3GB+32GB storage while CAMON iACE2 has a 2GB+32GB combo.

Now that the differences are set aside, rest of the specs are ditto on both devices. Both have a 13MP AI rear camera with f/1.8 aperture & VGA for photo shooting. The AI Auto Scene Detection (ASD) would help in different lighting conditions and automatically adjusts the brightness and contrast ratio to ensure the best image output. The embedded dual LED soft lights would be handy during extreme low lit environments.

The duo comes with 8MP AI selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture & front flash which is likely to help in capturing more light for better quality selfies, especially under lackluster conditions. Furthermore, the company claims that the native AI beauty algorithms would scan up to 228 facial points to create a more detailed and beautiful selfie. Tecno has included AI Bokeh mode for your portrait shots.

The design department has also met the sameness with 5.5” HD+ Full View display with 18:9 aspect ratio offering 80.5% screen-to-body ratio. It is available in 3 amazing colors – Midnight black, Champagne Gold and Nebula black (new Gradient color available in CAMON iACE2x) and City Blue (in CAMON iACE2).

The mid-budget device is equipped with 2.0GHz Helio A22 64bit Quad-Core processor powered with HiOS 4.1 based on Android Oreo 8.1 OS. Other features include face unlock, 3050mAh battery, Dual 4G VoLTE, and dedicated microSD card slot, which can support expandable memory up to 128GB.

Pricing and Availability

The new smartphones will be available for sale starting from today across more than 35000+ retail outlets PAN India. CAMON iACE2X with 3GB+32GB storage, priced at INR 7,599 and CAMON iACE2 with 2GB+32GB storage priced at INR 6,699.
