Amongst the smartphones that were seemingly due to be unveiled by Sony at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) next month, the 2017 variant of the Sony Xperia XA has leaked in a hands-on video.

Although the video, uploaded on video-sharing site Youtube, showcases a prototype of a phone with model number G3121, the placement of the front camera and a USB Type-C port makes it abundantly clear that this is the upcoming Xperia XA. Both of the features pertaining to the phone were exposed in earlier leaks and reports.

By the looks of it, the 2017 version of the Xperia XA features a sleek design with square corners and rounded edges and also has minimal bezels on the sides along with relatively wider bezels on top and bottom.

Furthermore, the video revealed that the phone features a 23MP camera on the back, something that is being claimed to be the USP of the upcoming Xperia XA. Along with that, the phone apparently boots the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Alas, the video did not shed light on the other specifications of the phone and they remain a subject of speculation for mobile enthusiasts.
