Sony has expanded its line of over-ear headphones by introducing a new budget-friendly addition – the WH-CH720N. These wireless headphones are equipped with active noise cancellation and boast being the lightest overhead headphones that the company has ever released.
To enhance noise cancellation, Sony has integrated the WH-CH720N with their latest processor chip, the Integrated Processor V1, which eliminates external sound with minimal delay. Additionally, the headphones are equipped with ‘Dual Noise Sensor’ technology that minimizes background noise. Furthermore, the WH-CH720N offers an adjustable Ambient Sound mode and Adaptive Sound control for a personalized audio experience.
The WH-CH720N headphones are also equipped with Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), which enhances the audio quality by restoring sound closer to the original recording. The headphones support multipoint connection, allowing users to easily switch between devices using a button or voice commands.
Crafted from synthetic leather and urethane materials, these headphones are designed for extended usage and weigh only 192 grams. According to Sony, the headphones offer an impressive battery life of up to 50 hours and up to 35 hours with active noise cancellation enabled. Additionally, a quick three-minute charge provides up to one hour of playback time, ensuring uninterrupted listening.

Starting March 17, 2023, customers in India can purchase the WH-CH720N headphones for Rs 9,990 from Sony retail stores such as Sony Center and Sony Exclusive, as well as major electronic stores and popular e-commerce and Sony official e-store.
