Sony, the renowned Japanese tech giant, introduced a new audio product to the Indian market earlier today. The latest addition to their lineup is the HT-S2000 model, a high-performance soundbar designed to deliver an exceptional audio experience. The new soundbar will join HT line-up which includes HT-A3000, HT-A5000, HT-A7000, HT-A9000 and HT-A9.

Supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

The HT-S2000 soundbar from Sony comes equipped with impressive features, including a 5.1 channel configuration and support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies. This combination ensures a cinematic surround sound experience, powered by the Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround. Moreover, the soundbar offers three-dimensional surround sound even when playing stereo content. With a dedicated center speaker for clear dialogue reproduction and dual subwoofers for deep bass, users can expect a captivating audio performance.

Enhanced Control with HEC Application

Accompanying the HT-S2000 soundbar is the new Home Entertainment Connect (HEC) application. This dedicated app simplifies the process of adjusting settings and provides complete control over volume, sound fields, and more, directly from a smartphone. Additionally, users have the option to purchase an optional wireless subwoofer, further enhancing the bass sound. The soundbar is also compatible with BRAVIA XR television soundbar sound settings, offering seamless integration within Sony’s ecosystem. Notably, this release comes shortly after Sony’s announcement of the new Bravia X82L Televisions with IMAX Enhanced Certification.

Commitment to Sustainability

Sony has prioritized sustainability in the design of the HT-S2000 soundbar. The product and its packaging incorporate reduced amounts of plastic, with recycled plastics used in areas that enhance acoustic performance. This eco-friendly approach aligns with Sony’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

The Sony HT-S2000 soundbar is now available for purchase in India through major electronic stores, ShopatSC, and various e-commerce platforms. It carries a price tag of INR 42,990.
