Sony LIV & Applause Entertainment’s partnership deepens as shows like Scam 1992, Tanaav & Undekhi get greenlit for new seasons

A few days ago, Jio Studios held a grand event wherein the giant confirmed that it is stepping into the OTT realm with a slate of over 100 movies and web series ready to stream in 2023-24. Jio Cinema is currently streaming IPL 2023 for free but will turn into a paid platform once the tournament concludes. Now, another OTT platform Sony LIV has revealed its slate of upcoming shows. Sony LIV and Applause Entertainment are taking their association forward by coming up with new seasons for existing successful shows and bringing some new shows as well.

Sony LIV X Applause Entertainment: Titles Announced

The web series that have been renewed for a second season are Scam 2003-The Telgi Story, Tanaav, Avrodh, and Undekhi.

The 2 new shows that have been announced are Kafas (a social drama by Sahil Sangha) and 36 Days (a suspense thriller). Kafas stars Sharman Joshi, Mona Singh, and Vivian Bhatena while the 36 Days star cast includes Neha Sharma, Purab Kohli, Shruti Seth, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sharib Hashmi, and others.

About Scam 2003

Scam 2003 will focus on the story of the infamous stamp paper scam by Abdul Karim Telgi. “It will be directed by Hansal Mehta and Tushar Hiranandani.
