It represents the most balanced and dependable hybrid camera we have ever produced.”

The Alpha 1 II mirrorless camera delivers exceptional high-resolution imaging powered by advanced artificial intelligence. It is equipped with a 50.1MP Exmor RS CMOS sensor, complemented by the BIONZ XR processor and a specialized AI unit. This powerful combination enhances subject recognition and overall image quality, providing impressive dynamic range and detail for both still images and videos. Additionally, the AI functionalities include innovative pose estimation for tracking human movements and automatic recognition of subjects.
The mirrorless camera provides continuous shooting without blackout at speeds of up to 30 frames per second, along with 120 autofocus and auto-exposure calculations each second. This makes it particularly suitable for fast-paced environments such as sports and wildlife photography. Additionally, it includes new functionalities like pre-capture and an enhanced continuous shooting speed, enabling photographers to seize fleeting moments effectively.

The camera retains much of its previous connectivity features; however, Sony has enhanced the Ethernet capability from 1Gbps to 2.5Gbps. Additionally, it is equipped with a new BC-ZD1 charger, which allows for the simultaneous charging of two batteries.
