Android 13 is a very minor update over Android 12, but Samsung has bought a couple of tweaks to its new UI. These can be edited from the Lockscreen and Samsung has called it a ‘fresh new look and feel’.

One UI 5.0 has adopted ‘Modes’ that be customized to adjust settings for different arenas of one’s life.

Samsung has also introduced ‘stack widgets’ that allow users to place multiple widgets in one home screen location and scroll through them. The ‘smart suggestions’ widget will look at your usage pattern and suggest particular apps.

Samsung has also worked on Google’s focus on privacy and security in Android 13. Samsung will not notify you when a picture you are sharing has personal information within.

The Bixby voice assistant will now be able to answer calls and read the message you have entered to the caller thanks to the new Bixby Text Call functionality.
