Samsung unveils Galaxy Book2 Pro Series Laptops at MWC 2022

As February 28 unfolded with MWC 2022 in Barcelona, OEMs claimed the opportunity to launch their phones and Samsung did it too. The South Korean giant launched four portable PCs although only two of them will be making it to the markets as of now.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro Series Pricing and Availability

Samsung has released four models under the Galaxy Book2 Pro series although the price tags for the standard and Business variant remain unannounced at the moment. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro carries a price tag of $1049.99 or INR 79,500/-. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 pro 360 goes on sale at $1249.99 or INR 94,640/-. Both the laptops will be available on pre-orders starting on March 18th with the sale starting on April 1st, 2022.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro Series Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 are almost identical with the difference that the latter’s screen rotates 360° allowing users to use it as a tablet as well.

The Galaxy Book2 Pro and Book2 Pro 360 have two screen sizes i.e. 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch each with a 16:9 aspect ratio on both models. The Book2 Pro 360 13.3” model weighs around 1.04Kg while the 15.6” variant weighs a whopping 1.41Kg on the weighing machine.

As both the laptops are almost identical, both have an AMOLED panel with 1920×1080 resolution with 400 nits regular and 500 nits of HDR brightness on-board. As said, Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 has a hinge that helps it flip 360° making it a 2-in-1 notebook so you are either using a tablet or a laptop.

Moving on, both the PCs are available in Intel Core i5 or i7 12th-gen processors paired with Intel Iris X integrated graphics, 8GB to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM depending upon the storage variant you pick. There’s a 63Wh battery under the hood on a 13.3” model while the larger 15.6” model gets a 68Wh battery so the battery life seems promising. You will get up to 65W fast charging tech onboard via USB-C. There’s a mic, headphone port, 2xUSB-C ports, and a single Thunderbolt 4 port for the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360.

The 13.3” Galaxy Book2 Pro, on the other hand, gets a microSD card, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a full-sized USB 3.2 port, a 1 USB-C port, a 3.5mm combo jack while the 15.6” gets SIM card slot and a full-sized HDMI port as well.
