Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Spotted On Geekbench

Samsung’s much awaited flagship, the Galaxy S8 Plus, has once again surfaced online. This time, it is the benchmarking website Geekbench which has let the world in on a couple more details of the phone, which will be launched alongside the Galaxy S8 on 29th March.

The listing of the phone reveals the make of the processor that is supposed to propel the device but unfortunately was not of much help with the details of the same.

The processor in question is one of Qualcomm (being put as the Snapdragon 835 chipset) make and has a sum total of eight cores, clocking in with a maximum speed of 1.9Ghz.

The listing also indicates the day and time the tests were run on the phone (2nd March, 5:01 A.M.) and also throws light on the RAM capacity, which is 4GB.

As far as the scores the phone has managed to gather are concerned, it has a 1929 single core score while the score with multiple cores combined stands at 6084. Also, the phone features a msm8998 motherboard.

Alas, the listing could reveal only so much about the much-awaited phone, that has the additional responsibility of turning around Samsung’s fortunes, more so after the debacle that the Note 7 was for the company.

Just to keep you in the loop, both the Galaxy S8 as well as the Galaxy S8 Plus are set for a grand launch on 29th March and will be up for grabs starting 21st April.
