Samsung is possibly working on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE, and it will reach the market in the upcoming months. Most probably, the Fan Edition of the Galaxy Tab S8 FE will launch around the end of 2022. The device has also made its appearance on the Geekbench listing website recently. The listing suggests that the tablet will house a MediaTek Kompanio 900T chipset along with 4GB RAM capacity.

The tablet scored around 773 in single-core tests and 2318 in dual-core tests. Not only this, but the device could also run on the Android 13 operating system at the time of its launch. It carries the model number SM-X506B, and the MediaTek processor carries the model number MT8971V/ZA. The MediaTek processor was made official last year, and it is built on fabricated on the TSMC’s 6nm process.

The processor offers Mali-G68 graphics processing unit (GPU) in the graphics department. Apart from that, the Geekbench appearance of the tablet has also suggested that it will have 4GB RAM. Expectations are that Samsung will launch the tablet with multiple storage variants, and 4GB can not be said to be able to handle multi-tasking and other stuff.

What is the competition?

Talking about the competition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE will be competing with the likes of Xiaomi Pad 5, Realme Pad 5, etc. That said, Samsung has to make sure that they are offering high-capacity RAM and a clean UI so that their offering can stand a chance against other alternatives in the market.

The competition is only going to increase in the near future as OnePlus is also prepping up to enter the tablet market. Speculations are that the tablet by OnePlus is going to be a high-end device with a fast-paced processor, high-capacity RAM, and more.
