Samsung Pay, Samsung’s own mobile payment solution has now become Samsung Wallet in India. The Samsung Wallet app can store credit/debit cards, digital currency, digital keys, login passwords, and health/vaccine passes. It allows users to pay for things through mobile transactions via NFC and UPI (limited to the Indian market).

All the information in the app is secure via Samsung Knox, a defense-grade digital security solution. Samsung Wallet will be available as an upgrade to Samsung Pay via the Galaxy Store starting today. All smartphones running Samsung Pay can be upgraded to Samsung Wallet eventually.
