Tech giant Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its Flagship Samsung Galaxy S24 Series which will include 3 models- Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The details regarding the design, build, and specs of Galaxy S24 smartphones have been making rounds for months now and the latest development was the launch date being leaked. Reports claim that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S24 Series in San Hose, California on January 17, 2024. The smartphones will be up for pre-order on the same day while an open sale might take place on January 30.
While we are still waiting for Samsung to confirm these dates, Tipster Ice Universe has shared information about the RAM options for the Galaxy S24 Series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: RAM Options Tipped
Reliable Tipster Ice Universe shared a tweet that claims that Samsung Galaxy S24 will have an 8GB RAM option, while Samsung Galaxy S24+ will have 8GB and 12GB RAM options. As for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, it will also get 8GB and 12GB RAM options, unlike earlier reports that claimed a 16GB RAM option.
The latest leak comes as a disappointment as fans were expecting Samsung to boost up the RAM to at least 16GB. The comment section under the tweet is filled with disappointed reactions wherein some also claim that Samsung won’t do anything about RAM until Apple offers 12GB RAM. Some others feel Samsung should at least improve wireless charging speeds and more if not RAM.
All in all, Samsung offering a maximum of 12GB RAM will go down as a shortcoming of the Galaxy S24 Series when it launches.
