Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy M55s 5G in India, and it perfectly aligns with the details we, Smartprix, previously leaked. The Galaxy M55s shares similarities with both the M55 and F55 models, making it a familiar addition to Samsung’s lineup. The device is priced under ₹20,000 and can be grabbed for ₹17,999 with all the discounts.

Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M55s comes equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, which is a 4 nm SoC. The phone features a 6.7” FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display, with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 Nits.

Must be a multitasking Monster

On the camera front, the M55s sports a 50 MP rear camera with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro sensor. The 50 MP front-facing camera has f/2.2 aperture. 

The Galaxy M55s offers up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1 TB via microSD. Additionally, it’s one of the only M-series models to include an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, although no charger is included in the box. It also includes NFC, USB-C 2.0, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band WiFi, and 5G connectivity.

It runs on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 and Samsung has promised 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates.
