Samsung India has launched the Galaxy M05 in India. As we reported yesterday, the smartphone is among the company’s most affordable M series models. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ screen, a 50MP primary camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor. Users can also expand their storage up to 1TB by using microSD cards. The official price of the smartphone happens to be Rs. 7,999. It is available to purchase on Amazon.

Galaxy M05 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M05 features a 6.7-inch HD+ display built on a 20:9 aspect ratio. The product page doesn’t mention anything about a higher 90hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the handset runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2GHz. Besides, it ships with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Users will also be able to extend the RAM (up to 8GB) with the RAM Plus feature. Further, the storage is expandable up to 1TB.
Besides the screen and the processor, the Galaxy M05 will sport a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor for sharp and detailed pictures. There’s a 2MP depth secondary camera too. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie shooter.
Powering the smartphone is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast wired charging, which is decent considering the segment the phone belongs to.

Out of the box, the Galaxy M05 runs on Android 14 operating system. Samsung has also promised to provide two generations of Android operating system upgrades and four years of security updates with the smartphone, making it an excellent option for long-term usage.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Galaxy M05 Price And Availability
The Samsung Galaxy M05 is available on Amazon for Rs. 7,999, down from the regular listing price of Rs. 9,999. Buyers can also avail of some additional offers. For instance, HDFC Bank cardholders can get a flat Rs. 500 off on credit card and debit card EMI transactions. Amazon Pay ICICI Bank card holders can also get a flat 5% cashback in their next billing cycle.
