Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) with AMOLED Display Listed online: Specifications and Price

As we are approaching the first dawn of 2018, Samsung is seemingly gearing up to revamp its portfolio. One of the early Samsung launches could be the Galaxy J2 (2018) as it has been spotted on a Russian site showcasing it in full glory and divulging its prominent specification along with the expected price.

According to the Russian site, Samsung will be offering its Super AMOLED display in the J2 (2018) which will be one of the cheapest AMOLED screen phones. The phone is said to pack a 5-inch qHD Super AMOLED displays with a screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Samsung will employ a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor along with Adreno 308 GPU. The phone is reported to feature a 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. A user will be able to bump up the storage up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.

The budget-centric phone will boast of an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone will boot up in Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. It will be backed by a 2600mAh battery which looking at the other hardware should last at least day on moderate usage.

The Galaxy J2 (2018) price tag as per Russian site will be 7990 Rubbles, which if we convert that to current conversion rates it roughly translates to Rs 8,867.
